PIE SALE ** - A pie sale will be held in conjunction with the Yard Sale on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th (8AM—3PM) at Warriors Mark UM Church.
A variety of homemade pies will be available.

PASTOR EVALUATIONS - TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR EVALUATION TO DEB WOOLFORD, SPRC CHAIR.
Your cooperation allows us to make decisions with discernment to help continue to facilitate God’s work in the name of the church. This knowledge will help the SPRC Committee keep the present Pastor informed about needed direction or to identify the gifts & grace needed for the next Spiritual Leader of the congregation.
If you did not receive a form in the mail, extra copies are available on the sign up table.

YARD SALE - The Warriors Mark UM Church will have a Yard Sale on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th (8AM—3PM).
Yard Sale Donations Needed…..
Due to limited storage space at WMUMC, if you have Yard Sale items to donate to our sale, we ask that you wait until August 26th to bring them to the church.
We also ask that ALL donated items for the sale be CLEAN and in GOOD WORKING CONDITION.
(Please No Computer or Exercise Equipment).

THANK YOU - Dear Church Family: My dad and family would like to thank everyone for your outpouring of prayers and love during the past week with the passing of my mom. It is always hard to deal with a death of a spouse and parent, but you folks have held us in your arms to help ease the pain. My dad can't believe the number of cards received and people who came to the viewing both Thursday evening and Friday morning. Whether you called, sent a card, visited, provided food, or helped with the service and meal afterwards, please know that we appreciated everything that was done. It is a wonderful feeling to know that we are part of such a great family. God Bless each and every one of you. ~ Kim Germino ~

VERBAL ANNOUNCEMENTS - In an effort to keep to our 1 hour time frame for Sunday morning worship, verbal announcements will begin at 10:25AM in the Sanctuary followed by the Opening Praise Songs.
If you have a verbal announcement to make, please do so during this time.
Also, please remember to check the announcement sheet in the bulletin each week for written announcements. Take it home and refer to it daily. The deadline to submit announcements for inclusion in the weekly bulletin is WEDNESDAY of each week.

40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION - TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO SIGN UP TO ATTEND (sign up sheet on table in hallway). Gary & Pastor Peggy invite you to a 40th Wedding Anniversary Party for them on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 4th (2:30—7:00 PM) here at the church. It will be a “Roast” so come be prepared to share.
Gifts are definitely not required, however there will be a card box if you would like to bring a card.

GOOD SAMARITAN’S GENEROSITY - Over the next 6 months, will you make a commitment to God & this church in your giving over & above your regular giving? We know it can be done; we have just witnessed this miracle during the 200th Anniversary.
We are asking you to make a commitment on a specific amount and give in either one payment or six payments, whichever you prefer.
Commitment Sheets with payment slips are located on the sign up table. Please pray about this and let the Lord direct you in your giving.

PRAYER BEARS - There are some fuzzy friends with us at WMUMC. They are “Prayer Bears” and are for anyone (men & women, boys & girls) going through difficult times. We hope that these bears will reach people with the love of Jesus Christ and bring comfort to those experiencing life transitions, illness, grief, etc. These bears will sit in the Sanctuary at WMUMC, hear the Word read & taught, prayers prayed, and songs of praise sung and then be given to individuals going through difficult times with prayers for comfort, strength, & healing.
Be on the lookout for people who need a “Prayer Bear” (could be someone who is sick, going through a divorce, lonely, or just needs a pick-me-up).
Just come to the church office & let Sara know you would like to take a bear & who it is for. A confidential list will be kept so we don’t duplicate who gets them.
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galations 6:2)
